Candace Woodson

was born in Paducah, KY where she began performing Gospel tunes with her sisters. Originally, the Parks Sisters and later known as the Golden Tones. Candace was the youngest of the three sisters, her personality stood out, as did her dynamic, four octave range vocal talent. 

Candace’s solo career began in Nashville, TN., where she received a degree in Commercial Music from Tennessee State University.

With a recommendation from her TSU Professor in hand, she pursued a career in radio where she was adored by WNSG 1240 AM listeners, whom she greeted daily with her trademark “Hello.. I’m Candace”. Soon after, Candace signed with a record label out of Minnesota and began to tour in support of her first project. 

Candace has opened for celebrity recording artists in Nashville, Los Angeles, Miami and New Orleans. Her mesmerizing performance style, has a way of reaching individuals with more than music and song. Her audiences experience an uplifting, emotional testimony of talent.  

Candace has a way of touching each person individually and her unique vocal style is different from any other artist on the music scene.

Candace is an actress, singer and a song writer of the highest caliber.  She continues to explore new avenues and uses her life learning to make her a better entertainer. She now lives on Hilton Head Island, SC with her family, from whom she receives her greatest joy. With God as her guide she continues to perform to an ever increasing fan base.
