best describes the music of the violin duo NUTTIN' BUT STRINGZ, the EMMY award-winning SONY International recording artist have enjoyed critical praise and a rapidly growing fan base. While NBS's national acclaim is new, their musical career is years-in-the making.

Damien and Tourie have been playing violin since they were in elementary school in Queens, New York, where they participated in the inspired music education program, Save the Music. The brothers later honed their skills at the at the renowned Julliard School and Bloomingdale School of Music.

Writers of all their own music, Damien and Tourie infuse a myriad of various styles into their violin production, incorporating classical, jazz, r&b, rock, reggae and hip-hop lyrics.

The brothers have received thousands of fan letters from young music students around the country.

After years of playing gigs in clubs around the region, sets at schools and shows in subway trains, the duo has gained a substantial and very diverse following, and gained national attention after performing, by invitation, on The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The White House.

The brothers value their position as role models, and have received thousands of fan letters from young music students around the country inspired to keep at their lessons after listening to Nuttin’ But Stringz.

It was this outpouring of support and interest in their music from young fans that inspired Damien and Tourie to set out on the 2005 Schools Tour. NUTTIN’ BUT STRINGZ released their highly anticipated sophomore album on Sony International.

Brothers Tourie and Damien Escobar combine the classical sound of the violin with Pop, R&B, and Hip Hop and what makes their high-impact performances so special is that they do it all while maintaining a strong desire to convey a positive family image.
