PARAMOUNT PICTURES Footloose Project

Photo of Footloose Dancers

On September 13, 2011, at the bequest of Bill Winans of Meeting Dynamic, Inc., working on the behalf of RealD 3D and Paramount Pictures, Ross and Holly were hired to recreate a scence from the blockbuster cinema classic "Footloose" to promote the forthcoming remake, possessing the same name.

Holly Brown choreographed and directed a dance sequence in support of Ross' spontaneous "flash-mob" concept, which was superbly executed by the Coastal Carolina University Cheerleaders.

The event began with audience members socializing prior to dinner. The dancers mingled with guests and blened into the crowd. Suddenly, the Kevin Bacon character (played by Joe Libby), screams, "Hey DJ, play us something we can dance to!" ...The title track "Footloose" begins to play and Joe takes off dancing around the room. He invites folks to clap their hands and join him, but no one does.

As Joe begins a line dance (Holly's choreography) other guys and girls join him at intervals. Miraculously they all know the dance. Amazingly, extroverted guests join in, too! The organizers are stunned by the interactive, spectacle which has exceeded their expectations!
